Around MLS: BC starts, Lovitz assists, dos Santos Man of the Match & more

Brandan Craig*^! (Philadelphia, Pa.) earned his first MLS start, played 90 minutes and recorded a 95.5 pass completion percentage in CF Montreal’s 2-0 loss to Vancouver. Fabian Herbers* also started and played 72 minutes, recording a key pass and 88.5 pass completion. Brian White^ played 86 minutes for Vancouver.

Femi Awodesu^! (Philadelphia, Pa.) started and played 90 minutes in Houston Dynamo’s scoreless draw with Columbus. Jack McGlynn*^ also started for the Dynamo and played 81 minutes, completed 81 percent of his passes and had a pair of crosses. Derrick Jones*^! (Philadelphia, Pa.) dressed but did not play for Columbus.

Carlos Coronel* made 7 saves to record a clean sheet for the New York Red Bulls in a scoreless draw with Atlanta. AJ Marcucci! (West Chester, Pa.) dressed but did not play.

Alvas Powell* started and played 90 minutes for FC Cincinnati in their 2-0 win over Toronto FC and Sergio Santos* played 16 minutes off the bench. Stefan Chirila^! (Allentown, Pa.) dressed but did not play for Cincy. Santos played 9 minutes for Cincy in a 1-1 draw with Tigres in Champions Cup play but Powell and Chirila did not feature.

Matt Freese*^! (Wayne, Pa.) made two saves in a 2-1 win over Orlando City. Backup goalkeepers Tomas Romero^! (Cherry Hill, N.J.) and Greg Ranjitsingh* both dressed for the match.

Zack Steffen^! (Downingtown, Pa.) made four saves and recorded a clean sheet for Colorado in a 1-0 win over Austin FC. Keegan Rosenberry*^! (Ronks, Pa.) started and played 90 minutes for the Rapids.

Jack Elliottt* played 90 minutes, registered a pair of shots and had a key pass for the Chicago Fire in a 3-1 win over FC Dallas.

Daniel Lovitz! (Wyndmoor, Pa.) played 90 minutes and had an ASSIST for Nashville SC in their 2-0 win over Portland. Taylor Washington* dressed but did not play.

CJ dos Santos^! (Philadelphia, Pa.) made five saves in a 3-1 win for San Diego FC over Real Salt Lake and was named Man of the Match.

Joshua Yaro* played 28 minutes for St. Louis City SC in their 3-0 win over LA Galaxy.

John McCarthy*! (Philadelphia, Pa.) started for LA Galaxy and made four saves in their 1-0 loss to Herediano in Champions Cup play earlier in the week.
