Philadelphia Union II primary jersey revealed

New signing Nathan Harriel is wearing the team’s primary blue jersey in a promo photo

The Philadelphia Union II’s first primary jersey was revealed on Friday ahead of their first game since March at home against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

A photo of Nathan Harriel wearing the blue jersey was sent to media with the announcement of his contract signing on Friday afternoon. Harriel will play on a USL Championship deal for the rest of the 2020 season and join the first team as a homegrown in January.

The Union II wore their secondary white jerseys in the only game they have played since changing their name from Bethlehem Steel FC to Philadelphia Union II. It was also the only game that has been played at Subaru Park since the name of the stadium in Chester changed.

Update: While the above photo shows a one color Sun East sponsor logo, equipment manager Andrew Varraco’s post shows the jersey with a two-color logo. The Bimbo bumper sticker logo is on the back beneath the number. The Bimbo logo was not on the back of the white jerseys the team wore in March.
