Union II score five in win over Chicago

Stas Korzeniowski had a brace and three others scored for Philadelphia Union II in a 5-2 win over Chicago Fire II on Sunday afternoon at Subaru Park.

Korzeniowski opened the scoring 16 minutes in off an assist from Giovanny Sequera and Sal Olivas doubled the lead five minutes off an assist from Cavan Sullivan, who made it 3-0 on a penalty kick in the 61st minute. Korzeniowski scored his sixth of the season in the 66th off an assist from Nick Pariano and Malik Jakupovic added his 8th goal in 12 appearances off an assist from Kellan LeBlanc in the 83rd.

Jason Shokalook pulled two goals back for the visitors to spoil a clean sheet for George Marks, who had 10 saves on the day. Union II leads MLS Next Pro in fewest goals conceded (30) and are second in goals scored with 58.

Union II head into their final two regular season games (Friday night in Ontario and October 5 at home) three points off the conference leaders New York Red Bulls II.
