Despite being just 26-years old, Powell brings a young Union side considerable experience at both the MLS level but also internationally. In eight seasons in MLS where he played for three different teams (six seasons with the Portland Timbers and a season with FC Cincinnati in 2019 before playing for Inter Miami last year), he has a total of 138 appearances with 124 starts and 11,102 minutes played.

Nashville interested in Liga MX forward Michael Estrada, look to add another DP
Estrada, 25, has 16 goals and five assists in 50 appearances (35 starts) since joining Toluca in 2020 for a reported $3 million fee from Independiente del Valle. He has five goals in 14 caps with the Ecuadorian national team. He was linked with Argentine giants Boca Juniors in the winter.

Banc of California Stadium to host 2021 MLS All-Star Game
MLS All-Stars will take on a Mexican Liga MX side on August 25th at the California-based stadium, the LA Times reported Monday. After seeing the 2020 edition of the game end up postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MLS has decided to keep the event at Banc of California Stadium, according to the report.

Timbers bring back midfielder George Fochive
Fochive has spent the past three seasons in the Israeli Premier League, playing with Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv FC most recently (2021) and also playing with Hapoel Kfar Saba FC (2020-21) and Hapoel Hadera FC (2019-20). He played a total of 64 matches with those three teams, notching four goals over that timeframe.
