Rate the U: Quinn Sullivan makes the most of his minutes in draw

Sullivan played 14 minutes but put his stamp on the game with an assist on a late equalizer

It might be as much an indictment on the overall Philadelphia Union performance as praise for one player, but Quinn Sullivan made the most of his 14-minute cameo with his energy and assist on Kacper Pryzbylko’s late tap-in to earn the highest rating in our Community Player Ratings poll.

Sullivan earned an average ranking of 4.11 against Inter Miami and was followed by fellow substitute Jack McGlynn, who had an average 3.59 rating. McGlynn only played 7 minutes but had a lovely pass to Kacper at the back post.

Only Sergio Santos, who played 28 minutes off the bench, finished with a rating higher than 3.

Perhaps, this comment best describes the disappointment of drawing a struggling Miami team: “That was an ugly game. Should have been a ‘get right’ game, instead it feels like a game that showed changes are needed, either in formation, personnel, tactics, or all three.”
