Jack McGlynn had a brace to lead Houston Dynamo back from a 2-0 deficit to a 2-2 draw in Austin on Saturday night. The former Philadelphia Union midfielder had a penalty kick in the 80th and an equalizing goal in the 89th.

The goals were McGlynn’s fourth and fifth of the season. Moments before his second, McGlynn played a perfect ball in to Sebastian Kowalczyk that he was unable to put on frame. The PK was his second of the season after he converted from the spot against his former team at home earlier this summer.

David Vazquez made his San Diego FC debut in the starting lineup and played 45 minutes in San Diego’s 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City on Saturday. Fellow Philadelphia Union Academy alum CJ dos Santos (Philadelphia, Pa.) started in goal and earned his 8th clean sheet of the season.

Jack Elliott started for Chicago Fire in their 2-2 draw with LAFC, which featured the MLS debut of Son Heung-min.

Brandan Craig (Philadelphia, Pa.) started in the midfield for CF Montreal in their 1-1 draw. Fellow Philadelphia Union alums Nyk Sessock (Philadelphia, Pa.) and Leo Afonso dressed but did not play for Atlanta United.
