Michael Orozco Fiscal’s Trial With Pachuca Ends, Returns To San Luis

Published

on

Americans seem to be falling by the wayside at Pachucha. The Mexican Primera Division club has declined to bring USMNT midfielder DeMarcus Beasley and former Philadelphia Union defender Michael Orozco Fiscal into the squad.

Orozco Fiscal had joined Pachuca on trial recently, after spending the last six or so months away from professional soccer. San Luis, another Primera Division side, saw the return of the defender from the Union in early March.

The Union could not extend the 25-year-old's loan, originally for only a year, or purchase his rights permanently from San Luis. According to Pachuca news outlet Criterio Hidalgo, Orozco Fiscal did not play for San Luis, between his return to Mexico and the end of the soccer season, because of "administrative mismanagement."

The former USMNT international is set to play with San Luis for the upcoming season.
