USMNT Will Play Mexico In A Friendly At The Linc On August 10
The United States Soccer Federation (USSF) announced today that the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) will play Mexico, in an international friendly at Lincoln Financial Field, on August 10 at 9 pm.
Coming off of a 4-2 loss to Mexico in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, the USMNT looks to build up form in August before heading to Belgium to play a friendly on September 6. Mexico will attempt to beat the USMNT for the second time in 2011 on US soil, this time on the East coast (the Gold Cup Final was at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, California).
The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to play the Baltimore Ravens, in their first preseason game of the year, on the following day, August 11.
