Teams from the Philadelphia Union, FC Delco and PA Classics will be among those competing in the MLS Next Cup playoffs in the U15, U16, U17 and U19 age groups kicking off this weekend in Dallas-Fort Worth.

The Philadelphia Union U17s – winners of last year’s MLS Next Cup and the Generation adidas Cup earlier this year – open against Portland Timbers at 1 p.m. eastern time on Sunday. The U15s – finalists in the Generation adidas Cup – open against Baltimore Armour at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

FC Delco, meanwhile, has teams at the U15, U16 and U19 level. The U15 team opens against LA Galaxy at 1:30 p.m. eastern on Saturday in a match that will be streamed live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The U16s play Total Futbol Academy at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the U19s take on Springfield SYC on Sunday at 10 a.m. PA Classics U17s play LAFC Sunday at 1 p.m.

FC Delco and Philadelphia Union U15s would meet in the second round if both teams win their Round of 32 matches.

The MLS Next Cup Playoffs is a single-elimination competition featuring the best 128 teams across four age groups (U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19). Teams qualified for the MLS Next Cup Playoffs based on results from league play or by winning their respective group at MLS Next Flex, a qualifying event that took place from May 12-16. The event marks the culmination of the 2022-23 MLS Next season, which included over 9,000 matches played across all age groups.
