Drexel forward Dominck Bachstein earned Top Drawer Soccer college Player of the Week honors after a banner week that saw the grad student from Malvern, Pa. score three goals and dish out four assists for Drexel in wins over UMBC and Hofstra.

Bachstein upped his season total to 8 goals and 4 assists on the season. Drexel’s win over 14th ranked Hofstra was their first over a ranked opponent since 2012. Their back-to-back games scoring 5 goals marked the program’s first since their inaugural season in the CAA in 2004.

Bachstein, who has featured with West Chester United over the past two summers, was also named the CAA offensive player of the week.

Drexel, under first-year head coach David Castellanos, is 6-4 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.
