Philadelphia Union
Philadelphia Union Postional Preview: Forwards
As the 2026 campaign gets underway this week. We take a deep dive into every player on the Philadelphia Union roster this season.
We’ve already looked at the goalkeepers, the defenders and the midfielders. All that’s left is the forwards.
Ezekial Alladoh – A new striker emerges! Alladoh set Union faithful on notice earlier this season when he was added to the squad on a club record $4.5 million transfer. A 20-year-old Ghanaian striker hailing from the Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna, Alladoh is no stranger to finding the back of the net. Bringing size, pace, and tactical excellence to this front line at such a young age will bring great potential upside to an attacking front that lost Mikael Uhre over the offseason. All signs point to Alladoh starting alongside Bruno Damiani, but with the additions of Korzeniowski and Anello to the first team, it’ll be whoever has the hot foot moving through the season.
Markus Anderson – Markus Anderson had a great season for the Philadelphia Union II in MLS Next Pro and looks to continue this as a homegrown player moving into 2026. After scoring an unforgettable stoppage-time winner against Charlotte FC in June, he’s proven he can step up on the first team when his number is called, but it is likely that with rotations in the forward position this season, he will see most of his action in MLS Next Pro.
Bruno Damiani – Bruno is coming off a quiet offseason with the Union, missing various friendlies during the Union’s trip down to Florida. Damiani had a very solid start to his Union campaign last season, scoring nine goals across 40 matches played last season. While the club remains quiet about the status of Bruno this offseason, he will be an integral part of the club with the loss of his two counterparts after the 2025 season. The biggest question mark of this club through 2026 will be where the goals are coming from, and Damiani could play a large part in that puzzle if he starts clicking with Alladoh.
Eddy Davis III – Eddy Davis will likely find his footing with the Union II this season. Another homegrown with chances at first team minutes, Davis’ contributions to the 2026 Union squad will likely be developed within the MLS Next Pro side this year.
Milan Iloski – If I were a betting man, the attacking prowess and creativity of the 2026 Philadelphia Union would revolve around the boots of Milan Iloski. With his first full offseason this year, Milan can only build up from his great debut with the team when arriving over the summer of 2025. Iloski contributed four goals and five assists in his 14 matches with the team last season. Milan is a contender for one of the best and most explosive players in Union history with the ball at his feet. Union fans should be excited about the potential upside of such a unique player moving into his first full season with the club.
Sal Olivas – Sal Olivas brings another piece of youthful depth to the side. The 19-year-old homegrown player had a fantastic preseason with the first team down in Florida and will continue to provide depth in the reserves of the first team. You can expect Sal to play the majority of his minutes with the Union II this season.
Stas Korzeniowski – Stas is one of the more exciting youngsters to rise from the MLS Next Pro side this season. Contributing 12 goals over 25 matches last year, the size, speed, and finishing ability of Korzeniowski are something to keep an eye out for in 2026. With a rotating and depleted forward locker room in Philly, there is a great chance that Stas can find opportunities to step up throughout the 2026 campaign.
Agustin Anello – Finally, the most recent Union signing. Augustin arrives in Philly from Uruguay after a great nine-goal season with Boston River FC. The 23-year-old American brings lethal finishing and great strength to the Union front line, and will be a key piece in the starting eleven or off the bench for the side this season. Anello hit the ground running when the side faced Montreal in preseason, grabbing an assist in his first week on the pitch with his new club. With so many exciting options up front this year, the Union will be keeping the two forward spots competitive all season if players like Augustin stay healthy.
