Around MLS Next Pro: Pierre scores, Becher assists and Chirila brothers start

The Chirila brothers started together for FC Cincinnati and Penn grads Leo Burney and Charlie Gaffney were among a trio of Quakers getting their professional debuts for Tacoma Defiance over the weekend in MLS Next Pro. Stas Korzeniowski earned his pro debut starting for Philadelphia Union II. Other pro debuts included Vermont national champion Zach Barrett getting his first start for Huntsville City FC

Nelson Pierre*^! (Lebanon, Pa.) started, played 80 minutes and scored a GOAL for Vancouver Whitecaps II in their 3-3 draw with LAFC 2.

Ryan Becher^! (Hummelstown, Pa.) started, played 90 minutes and had an ASSIT for St. Louis City 2 in their 3-0 win over North Texas SC.

Josh Belluz@ (Villanova) started a played 90 minutes for Colorado Rapids 2 in a 4-2 loss to Austin FC.

Sean Karani@ (Temple) started and played 62 minutes for Ventura County in their 3-2 win over Tacoma.

Leo Burney@ (Penn) and Charlie Gaffney@ (Penn) both started and played 90 minutes for Tacoma.

Eric Klein! (Manheim, Pa.) started and played 90 minutes for Revs II in their scoreless draw with Union II.

Zach Barrett! (Phoenixville, Pa.) started and played 90 minutes for Huntsville City in their 4-1 win over Chicago Fire.

Stefan Chirila and Andrei Chirilla (Allentown, Pa.) started and played 90 minutes for FC Cincinnati 2 in their 1-0 loss to Toronto FC II.
