Seven from area named to rosters for High School All-American Games

Games for the boys and girls teams will be played in Orlando on December 2

Seven area teenagers have named to the boys and girls High School All-American teams that will compete on December 2 in Orlando, Florida.

Conestoga midfielder Nick Jennings, Salesianum forward Gavin Ford, Lower Dauphin forward Jackson Becher and Delran midfielder John Strohlein were named to the boys East team. Jennings, who is committed to Lehigh, will be joined on the team by another future Mountain Hawk, Josh Lucini, from North Allegheny High School. Becher is committed to UMBC for next fall and Ford and Strohlein are undecided.

Three from the region will be on the girls East team, including Penn Charter midfielder Giovanna DeMarco, Manheim Township forward Alison Heckman and Germantown Academy midfielder Mackenzie Pluck.

DeMarco is committed to Wake Forest, Heckman to James Madison and Pluck to Duke.
