St. Mark’s will look to repeat as Delaware girls high school state champions tonight in the first of two state finals being played at Delaware State University.

The Spartans take on Archmere Academy in the DIAA Division 2 final at 6 p.m. Archmere knocked off last year’s runner up and six-time state champion Caravel Academy in the semifinal on Wednesday to make the program’s third final. Archmere was the runner up in 2004 and 2014.

Appoquinimink is seeking their first state title in the DIAA Division 1 final at 8 p.m. against Middletown. Middletown knocked off 12-time state champions Padua Academy in a rematch of last year’s final in the semifinal on Wednesday. Middletown won the title in 2017 and came up short in their second finals appearance against Padua last June.

Both finals will be streamed live on the NFHS Network.
