This past week has been pretty great as well. Cristian Maidana got an assist on CJ Sapong’s goal against the Montreal Impact in the Philadelphia Union‘s 2-2 draw on Saturday. He also had his lost dog returned to him earlier this week after the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against D.C. United where he had an assist on Eric Ayuk’s goal. But his year got even better this afternoon when he wed his longtime girlfriend Beli Freites.
