MLS SuperDraft 2021 Grades: Rating every team’s picks
The true winners (or success) of the MLS SuperDraft 2021 won’t be known until a ball is kicked. And at this stage in the draft’s development, in a year’s time, a draft class can be judged by how many players remain on a roster.

Jordan Morris in Wales to complete physical
While it might be cutting it a little too close for Morris to be ready in time for Swansea City’s FA Cup match on Saturday, all of this bodes well for the Seattle native having plenty of opportunity to settle in. Swansea still have 22 matches remaining in their Championship campaign and are in strong position to gain promotion.

San Jose Earthquakes bring in Eduardo ‘Chofis’ Lopez on loan from Chivas
Lopez, 26, joins the Earthquakes after spending his entire professional career previously at Chivas, making his debut in 2013. The left-footed attacking midfielder has played over 200 times for Chivas across all competitions, and played for Earthquakes boss Matias Almeyda in Guadalajara from 2015-18, the duo helping to lead Chivas to a Liga MX title, two Copa MX titles, and a Concacaf Champions League title in that span.

Draft Day Deal: Dynamo land Derrick Jones
Houston is sending $250K in General Allocation Money to Nashville in exchange for the Ghanaian born midfielder. Jones started his career in Major League Soccer with the Philadelphia Union in 2016. Nashville acquired Jones before they even joined in MLS, back in 2019 for $175K in General Allocation Money.
