It’s down to Dickinson in the NCAA Division III Sweet 16.

The Red Devils are the last remaining men’s program in the region still standing in the NCAA Division III postseason after the first and second rounds were played over the weekend.

Messiah was knocked out by Williams in double overtime and Franklin and Marshall bounced by Conn College in second round matches on Sunday. Rowan, Muhlenberg and Neumann all lost first rounds matches on Saturday.

Dickinson junior Saul Iwowo had the game-winning goal in the 24th minute for the Red Devils on Sunday and assisted on Johnny Diederich’s (West Chester, Pa.) insurance goal at the hour mark. Sophomore goalkeeper Aidan George made three saves to record his eighth clean sheet of the season, a new school record. George had four saves in the 1-0 win over St. Mary’s in Saturday’s first round match. Junior defender Jackson Wolf scored the lone goal in the 61st minute.

The trip to the Sweet 16 is a first for the Red Devils (16-3-3), which return home to Carlisle to host Buffalo State (16-2-4) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Washington & Lee will play Williams College at 11 a.m. at Miller Memorial Field. The two winners will meet Sunday at 1 p.m. with a trip to Las Vegas on the line.
