Monath goal lifts Delaware to win over Lehigh
Grant Stadium continues to be a fortress for Delaware men’s soccer. Rich Monath scored his first of the season in the 74th minute on Tuesday night to lift Delaware to a 1-0 win over Lehigh and extend the Blue Hens’ home unbeaten streak to 14 games.
Monath, a senior from Maryland, led the Blue Hens in goals last season but has been more of a provider this year with a team-high six assists.

Delaware improved to 6-2-4 with the win while Lehigh fell to 3-3-4. The Blue Hens host La Salle on Saturday afternoon before getting a week off ahead of a conference road trip to face St. Thomas in Minnesota.
