Multiple Sources Confirm Bids Received for Gianluca Busio from Italy and Netherlands
He’s started all eight of Sporting KC’s games, picking up two goals and an assist. He’s done that while playing three difference positions. He started the season as a false 9 (striker) to cover for the injured Alan Pulido. He then moved to his usual position in one of Sporting’s two advance midfield spots (commonly referred to as an 8).

Caleb Porter provides injury updates on Luis Diaz, Kevin Molino, other Crew players
While Diaz is dealing with his knee knock, the rest of the Crew players are continuing the road to getting healthy. Porter also provided an update on the status of winger Kevin Molino, midfielder Perry Kitchen, and left backs Milton Valenzuela and Waylon Francis.

LA Galaxy’s Derrick Williams handed extra 5-game ban for bad tackle
An extra five-game suspension is at the high end of what MLS tends to give for horror tackles. In recent years, they’ve tended to go for one- or two-game bans beyond the red card suspension itself, but dating back to 2011 they did ramp up bans in response to a spate of season-ending injuries on bad tackles.

Ruiz, 26, spent the year on loan at UD Las Palmas in LaLiga2, Spain’s second tier. He was among the league’s best players, with five goals and six assists in 37 league appearances.

The last time the two teams played each other, it was all Mexico in a 3-0 “friendly” win just a couple months after Mexico beat the USMNT in the 2019 Gold Cup final. It’s another final tomorrow. It’s for another trophy. And the two best in Concacaf will go at it once again in what should be an exciting match.
